After discovering the Stargate Novels this year I started devouring them, but I started with literally the best ones so I was a little disappointed with the last ones I read. When I heard this book would come out I was really excited but a little afraid it would also be a disappointment. I could not have been more wrong!Stargate SG-1 Infiltration is in fact one of the best Stargate Novels I’ve read. The characters are true to themselves; their dialogues made me think I was watching an episode of the series and the story is so captivating that I read it non-stop.The adventure SG-1 finds on this planet could easily be made into an episode. The new characters and their struggle are very engaging and somewhat new, and the plot is full of action.I particularly liked the connection this book has to episode Entity and the conclusion of the mission reports analysis. There is a big emphasis on Carter’s character, so if you love her, this book is definitely for you.Despite the focus on Carter, the rest of the team is also very present in the story and we see a lot of O’neill’s jokes, Daniel’s moral dialogues and Teal’c fight for Jaffa’s freedom. I also loved the little hints that are present in the book regarding O’neill and Carter’s relationship. That was definitely a plus I missed in the last books I read.I recommend this book to those who want more Stargate adventures. You’ll feel you’re watching an episode.
This book had an interesting storyline and the characters were well defined. I could see this as an episode. Really enjoyed it. More please.
